Brand Expeditions is a site and concept developed by Dan Dunlop – marketer and brand consultant. Dan is the leader of the expeditions team. The purpose of this site is to share reflections and insights on branding and marketing, and to elicit your responses.
Our expeditions are well-planned explorations (brand perception studies or brand assessments) that give us a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist relative to building increased stature and esteem for the client brand.
Past expeditions have included strategic work on many prominent brands including Nextel Communications, CitySearch, Cotton Incorporated, Fieldcrest Cannon, Time Warner Cable, Volvo Trucks North America, and countless others. In the healthcare realm, we’ve worked with blue chip institutions such as Tufts Medical Center, University of North Carolina Health System, Rex Healthcare, Lexington Medical Center and University Health Systems. We’ve also worked with a number college and university brands including the University of North Carolina, Duke University, North Carolina State University, Johnson C. Smith University, and The UNC School of Public Health.
